The client is a top web development and hosting company based in the City – they have a excellent client base and an established, secure business. Due to extensive growth and exciting new projects we are now looking to recruit a strong and experienced Linux and Windows System admin professional.
Ideally the successful candidate will have a good footing in Linux/UNIX technologies and have worked in installing, upgrading and optimizing Linux Servers redhat, centos, debian and the like. The will have knowledge of configuring services such as Apache, MySql Server etc, managing back ups and configuring routers/switches and a solid understanding in building and configuring Windows 2000/2003 and related services.
The successful Linux system admin will have a good background in troubleshooting and providing support to users.
A strong, self motivated worker who has a passion for LAMP technologies would be ideal. The successful Linux System Admin will not be afraid to roll up their sleeves to get stuck in, they will have excellent team working skills and enjoy a challenge and also a good communicator.
