Technical Support Services Assistant

IntaPeople have an immediate requirement for an experienced engineer to join a well established company based in Nottingham
Key Responsibilities are to:
Support the software development team to resolve software technical issues
Resolve customer queries with the assistance of technical specialists (with primary responsibility for the UK and European markets)
Contribute to improving support processes throughout the group
Assist in ensuring end products meets original product specifications
Write technical support documentation and training manuals
Required skills:
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience of transmissions an advantage but not essential
Competent in use of CAD and FE packages
Experience in a customer facing role preferable
Good analytical skills
Qualifications / Education:
Mechanical/Automotive Engineering degree, minimum 2.1
