Intapeople have an urgent requirement for a Microsoft Windows CE kernel-level developer to join a forward thinking, dynamic company based in Wiltshire
Reporting to the Director of the Windows Embedded Group, you will be responsible for the design and development of bootloaders, drivers and other system-level OS components such as OAL for Microsoft Windows CE 5.0, 6.0, MS Mobile and MS Auto.
Essential:
Embedded operating systems porting & development, real-time or system level development using C or C++ in Windows CE or Windows Mobile environments
Desirable:
Kernel experience including BSP porting, bootloaders and board bring-up
Experience of driver level porting, creation, design, implementation and integration
ARM, Intel or MIPS processor knowledge
Building and configuring operating systems
Software Project management
Staff mentoring
Sales support
Quote research, preparation and presentation
Experience of assisting and coaching other technical staff.
