My are client are a leading international service provider with an annual turnover of billions, who are currently looking for an experienced ITIL service management consultant to join a rapidly expanding team. This position is perfect for an experienced ITIL consultant looking for a new challenging role. The purpose of the role will be:
- Reviewing how a clients current services are provisioned
- Conducting strategic service solution design & development
- Managing & advising on service improvement programmes
- Implementing & designing service management processes
- Training client management & staff in the principles & processes of service management

The role of the ITIL service management consultant is a customer-facing role where you will need excellent consulting and presentation skills, good people skills and the ability to communicate and articulate convincingly at all levels.
To be successful you will need experience of
• IT Service Operations
• Experience of applying ITIL Service Delivery and Service Support principles to delivery teams and contracted services and demonstrating well-rounded knowledge of ITIL and its practical implementation
• Knowledge and proven experience of working within IT Governance e.g. COBIT etc
• Advanced knowledge of ISO/IEC 20000 will be a distinct advantage
• Proven experience of IT Process Service Delivery, including in-depth knowledge of process capability/maturity assessment and process development
• Familiarity with compliance and quality frameworks such as ISO Standards
• Developing experience in ITIL v3 strategies and preferably ITIL v3 Foundation
• Extensive breadth of experience across multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent and proven leadership/motivational skills and seen as a leader when on assignment
• Experience of working within small to large scale projects
• ITIL v3 Foundation – ** Highly desirable for Service Management Consultant
• ISO/IEC 20000 Certified – ** Highly desirable for Service Management Consultant
• Experienced in producing white papers
